The quilt features an eight-pointed star (or "eight-pointed cross") pattern in shades of grey and white, a motif believed to bring good fortune to the newlyweds.
The eight-pointed star, a cross radiating light, is widely recognized in Europe as a magical, auspicious symbol, representing love and fertility. It was also associated with Venus, the Morning Star: a symbol of light triumphing over darkness. As a representation of the North Star, it serves as a compass, indicating both the cardinal directions and the intermediate points (northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest).
The quilt is crafted from cotton fabrics with a cotton backing. It is filled with polyester batting, a hypoallergenic material. The quilt is machine-washable using the "wool" or "delicate" cycle. It is recommended to use a liquid laundry detergent, which helps keep the fabrics soft even after repeated washing. For multi-colored quilts, using a "color catcher" sheet in the wash is advised. This product was created in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

How and how quickly will my order arrive?
We ship orders to a parcel machine or by courier across Europe. All products in the shop are dispatched within 2–7 business days. For special orders we agree the delivery time separately.
Can I return or exchange a product?
Yes, products bought from the online shop have a 14-day right of return from the date you receive them. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Items made specially to order cannot be returned.
How do I care for woolen and linen products?
We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.
Do you make custom orders?
Yes, we're happy to make products to order — for example in the colour, size or with the embroidery you want. Get in touch and we'll talk through your wishes.
