Patchwork Quilt NAUTICAL (180 x 260 cm)
A quilt or bedspread featuring nautical imagery and a starry sky. Perfectly suited for a tall and sturdy sailor.
Quilt dimensions: 180 x 260 cm.
The quilt’s design includes whales, dolphins, sea turtles, seashells, sailboats, lighthouses, seagulls, and more. Set against a dark blue background are deep yellow-orange stars, a starry sky, and eight-pointed star motifs. The eight-pointed star, a cross with eight tips, radiating light, is widely recognized in Europe as a magical, lucky charm, as well as a symbol of love and fertility. It was also known as a symbol for Venus, the Morning Star: a beacon of light against the darkness. As a representation of the North Star, it serves as a compass, indicating both the cardinal directions and the intermediate points (northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest). The quilt is densely quilted in a pattern resembling ocean waves; this dense stitching makes the piece particularly striking and durable.
This item functions well as a bedspread or as a lightweight cover for sleeping during hot summer weather. It is thin and light, and fits into a standard washing machine.
The design is crafted from cotton fabrics, with a cotton lining and a polyester batting filling (a hypoallergenic material). The quilt is machine-washable using the "wool" or "delicate" cycle. It is recommended to use a liquid detergent, which helps keep the fabrics soft even after repeated washing. For colorful blankets, it is recommended to use a "color catcher" sheet in the washing machine. Use the lowest spin setting and hang to air-dry. Do not tumble dry or iron. This product was made in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
