On Saturday, 15 December 2018, the publication "Patchwork Quilt 100. My Estonia today" was launched at the University of Tartu Library. The publication, an album, contains all those 100 patchwork panels and the makers who took part in the project for the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. The pieces were finished at the start of the year and have travelled as exhibitions across the whole of Estonia, starting on the northern coast and reaching Tartu today.
At the launch we were welcomed by the mayor of Tartu, Mr Urmas Klaas. Musical interludes were played on the violin by Marta Kulaots.

I did not take pictures of the programme, but here are a few snaps of the book and the exhibition.
In one picture I am there with my work, in another my fellow addict, Krista alias Ombluse Mamsel. My heart melted when several people admitted that my work was their favourite among all 100 pieces and asked for an autograph in their book.
It was a very lovely and heartfelt event, and a new big project has already been announced: a patchwork project dedicated to the anniversary of the Baltic Way together with quilters from Latvia and Lithuania.
