There are things that common sense refuses to believe. The subject of geoengineering is quite certainly one, and the greatest of them all. I have kept an eye on information about it for years and felt what a small beetle I am in this large and grand world of money and power. Sad and depressing.
I myself do everything my small head can think of to look after and spare our Mother Earth:
* I sort the rubbish and take everything remotely suitable to the waste station;
* I grow vegetables, berries, herbs and medicinal plants as far as my strength allows;
* I use no artificial fertilisers or poisons in my garden, only compost and hen manure, and I control pests only by natural means;
* I keep hens and give them my own vegetables and GMO free feed;
* in my tiny company I try, alongside new materials, to make the most of production waste and reclaimed materials;
* I do not buy unnecessary things or eat junk food, and I prefer paper, biodegradable and reusable packaging and bags;
* I try to use both water and electricity sparingly;
The list is certainly longer, but nothing else comes to mind at the moment. Help me out if you can 🙂
But the point of what I am saying is that when you read and think about what is going on around us, on a global scale and without our say, it feels like fighting windmills. Is there any point at all in one person's efforts and convictions if the big "players" simply set about poisoning our planet as best they can and as they please, out of greed.
As it was said in The Hobbit, those who found their way into the dragon's cave and saw the heaps of gold there become "infected": greed smothers in them all the wisdom and knowledge that mattered to them until then. Sad.
