K. got in touch with me wanting to give her husband notebook covers for their 9th wedding anniversary. She had a text and a picture ready drawn to be embroidered on the cover, and she ordered that from an embroiderer herself. Together we discussed what the design of the covers might be, what size the embroidered part should be and so on. She went and measured her husband's notebook in secret, one way and then the other.
I received the linen square with the embroidery via a parcel machine, chose a blue linen fabric to go with it, went into town to buy ribbon for decoration, sent pictures to the client in between, and once everything suited, I sewed it, packaged it and posted it.
The client posted a letter of thanks on the Facebook page: "A big, big thank you to Mailis Design for wonderful cooperation. My husband was overjoyed and put the covers to use at once 🙂 Our 9th wedding anniversary, 12.09.2018."
