A quilt with a kaleidoscope pattern

So far I have done the kaleidoscope pattern in folding technique, for the ornaments on various bags, for instance. Now under the machine there is a quilt with a kaleidoscope pattern, whose design consists of coloured diamonds.
Today's quilt has been waiting its turn since the spring, but the right and good inspiration simply would not come. I puzzled and puzzled, but no pleasant solution for placing three colours in the pattern would take shape in my head. The colours wanted are black, white and dark pink (from a photograph of the room's wallpaper).

Yesterday, though, I caught the end of the thread and today the pattern finally started to take shape. From the middle towards the edges, as can be seen in the pictures, until the whole size of the quilt is laid out. At the moment some pieces are not yet sewn together and others already are. That is why the places where the colours cross may look slightly out of line.
In a few days I will put up new pictures.

Right then, three or four working days behind me and the four quarters of the quilt's pattern are done. Tomorrow they get sewn together and pressed once more. Then the borders to be cut and sewn around it. The backing to be sewn to size, and the wadding as well. Then all three layers to be laid together and pinned with safety pins. And right at the end, quilted properly through and the edges finished with binding.
