Handmade, patchwork-sewn pot holders make a lovely gift for any home. They create a festive mood both in winter and summer. One of the pot holders has an embroidered message: THERE ARE NO MISTAKES IN THE KITCHEN, ONLY NEW RECIPES. Material: cotton fabrics, filled with thick cotton wadding. The eight-pointed star, or eight-pointed cross, a light-radiating cross, is widely known across Europe as a magical good-luck sign, a symbol of love and fertility. It was also known as the symbol of Venus, the morning star - a symbol of light against darkness. As a symbol of the North Star, it serves as a directional guide, showing both the main compass points and the intermediate ones such as northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.

We ship orders to a parcel machine or by courier across Europe. All products in the shop are dispatched within 2–7 business days. For special orders we agree the delivery time separately.
Can I return or exchange a product?
Yes, products bought from the online shop have a 14-day right of return from the date you receive them. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Items made specially to order cannot be returned.
How do I care for woolen and linen products?
We recommend washing woolen and linen handmade products by hand in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, and drying them laid flat. Avoid hard wringing, heat and the tumble dryer so the item keeps its shape and colour.
Do you make custom orders?
Yes, we're happy to make products to order — for example in the colour, size or with the embroidery you want. Get in touch and we'll talk through your wishes.

Mailis Design products have supported various youth sports and cultural events, scouts and the local village society, Tallinn Zoo, children with cancer, homeless animals, large families and more.
