Oven mitt, pot holder with two pockets
Handmade oven mitt, pot holder sewn in patchwork technique, with pockets for the hands at each end. Works well for lifting large and especially hot pots, baking dishes, and baking trays. The very thick and dense material consists of five layers: patchwork-pattern cotton fabrics on top, beneath that thick cotton batting quilted between two cotton fabrics, and at the bottom, wool felt fabric (industrial felt). There is a hanging loop on the back side.
