Playing with dolls develops both creativity and empathy in children. Handling small clothes and their various fastenings develops children's fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the coordination of hands and eyes, and the agility and precision of finger movements. Fine motor skills are important for a child's development of perception, attention, memory, thinking, speech, and reading ability.
